Before:
Jessica has been saying for months now that as soon as we come back from China, she is going to cut her hair short. I'm not sure what prompted this, (perhaps the tears as we combed through it each day) and I had mixed feelings as I cut off those precious 14 inches-- but I have to say that I am soooo happy with her decision! Even Jeremy (who took months to come around to the idea) loves her new look. (:
After:
This is the look I was given when I asked for "just one more picture."

SOOO Cute!!
ReplyDeleteI think shorter hair on little girls is always so cute! I don't know if it's because so many like to have it long and it's different to have it short. It makes her look older. adorable.
ReplyDeleteJust precious either way!!
ReplyDeletehugs - aus and co.
Did you save her hair? You could take it to Locks of Love.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so cute!
It's always a big transition to cut your hair short. She looks adorable and I bet she loves it!
ReplyDeleteYou should donate her hair to locks of love! I love her short hair. So precious!
ReplyDeleteWhen you said 14 inches I expected her hair to be SUPER super short. I can't believe it's still that long! She had some LOOoOOOOOOooNG hair!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe looks adorable and SASSY!!!! :-)
What a doll. As "sparkley" as ever!!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously adorable! You cut hair too? Is there anything you can't do? :)
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteHow are you?
Thanks so much for your wonderful ministry. God has blessed you with a wonderful family and I’m sure lots of families are blessed by it!
As large families are not the norm today in North America or other big cities, we large families really need encouragements, support and tips to go on. Many of us are convicted that it is God’s will to raise and homeschool a large family to glorify Him, however, during the journey, we are frustrated at times and ask, “does this really work?” as many of us are without experience. In light of this came the idea of this book.
I would be very much appreciated if you can submit an article sharing your experience and God’s grace during your journey. Guidelines are in the link below. It can be a blog you published before or a new piece that you specifically write for this book. I am very positive that many families will be grateful for your sharing.
All of your family members are invited as well!
Please seriously pray about it! =)
May God continue to bless your family abundantly!
Kay
P.S. It would be wonderful if you can also help spreading the word. Thank You =)
Aw, she looks precious with short hair! Did ya'll consider donating those 14 inches? I had hair past my waist most of my life and when I finally cut it off, it was around 20 inches! I so regret that I didn't know you donate hair!
