  1. Chuckling--she's BEAUTIFUL! :)

And this makes me think of just this last weekend when another family was visiting us and my 4yod got into my makeup and "prettied up" her little 3yo friend. giggle

  7. I have watched your announcement video three times this week and sobbed through my smiles. Your family is awesome. On the third try I noticed your adorable little foot-user. So I wanted to make sure you knew about I-CAN, the International Child Amputee Network. This group existed years before Facebook, blogs, and yahoo groups, as an email listserv where people can ask questions of other parents of limb-different children or adults with limb differences (such as myself). If you have any questions OR want to share wisdom you've already gleaned, we would absolutely love to have you join the group. there are all kinds of limb differences and all kinds of family types represented.

    1. Thanks so much for the link. We had not heard of this great resource before. We've visited the site, looked at some of their adaptive techniques and even emailed them to ask a question. Much appreciated:)
